ST. LOUIS — Home repair companies Hoffman Brothers and Ferguson Roofing said Friday they were donating a combined $100,000 to the Urban League of Metropolitan ӣƵ for tornado relief.
The Urban League has been distributing food and other supplies at its 4108 N. Kingshighway Boulevard headquarters following the May 16 tornado that devastated parts of ӣƵ.
The organization says it between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Kingshighway location.
Co-sponsors include Schnucks, Emerson, Nike, Bayer, Operation Food Search, McDonalds, Edward Jones and more.
“Our hearts go out to the families who lost their homes, their belongings, and their sense of stability,” said Chris Hoffmann, CEO of Hoffmann Brothers, in a statement. “Partnering with the Urban League ensures this support goes directly to those who need it most right now.

"We hope this gift inspires others in the business community to join in and make a difference during this critical time," he said.
According to a news release, Hoffman Brothers provides heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, water heater, sewers, drains and appliance services while Ferguson Roofing provides roofing, siding and gutter services.
