CHESTERFIELD — McBride Homes has named President Jake Eilermann the new CEO of the company, the homebuilder announced Monday.
His promotion is effective immediately and had been planned for several years. Eilermann, 32, will take over the helm from his father, John Eilermann Jr., 59, who will serve as chairman of the board, according to a release.
“Today's announcement recognizes the significant contribution that Jake has brought to McBride Homes,” John Eilermann Jr. said in a statement. “He has been directing our company in all facets for the past four years and we are fortunate to have someone of Jake’s caliber and experience step up to lead McBride.”
Eilermann Jr. spent 37 years at McBride, now one of the largest homebuilders in the state, where he began as an estimator. He was appointed president in 1993 and became CEO in 2005.

Jake Eilermann joined McBride as manager of architecture in 2016. He oversaw the company's new design studio and its new corporate headquarters on North Outer 40 Road in Chesterfield. Jake Eilermann was named president in 2019.
