
Alex Meyer
Another local politico has landed a job at the White House.
Alex Meyer, a De Smet Jesuit High grad, has been named as Donald Trump and director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
Before grabbing his Pennsylvania Avenue office, Meyer had toiled as the deputy political director for the Trump-Vance 2024 campaign.
Before that, he had served as a senior adviser to Trump, whose campaign he joined in 2023. He also worked for Trump’s inauguration committee in 2016-17.

A ӣƵ native and University of Mississippi graduate, Meyer was the Missouri Republican National Committee director from 2017 to 2019 and also worked for the campaign of U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt.
Earlier this month, St. Charles native Andrew “Drew” Dziedzic as a special assistant to Trump in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs for the U.S. Senate.
Previously, Dziedzic had worked for U.S. Sen. Eric Schmitt for seven years.
