ST. LOUIS — Prosecutors on Wednesday charged a 25-year-old with opening fire on a car, killing one man and injuring two others, including an 8-year-old child.
Tavon L. Jackson, of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder, in a June 8 shooting in the 8300 block of North Broadway.
Police say surveillance video shows Jackson walking up to a vehicle and opening fire. While he continues to shoot, police say he opens up the door, drags out 22-year-old Michael Maxon, and shoots him.
In the process, an 8-year-old child and another man were wounded.
Jackson was charged with murder, two counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action. He is being held without bond.
