Officers found him nearby and seized a knife, court documents say.
Police say Fuller admitted to bringing the knife and a pair of black gloves to work. The teenager told officers he put the gloves on when he felt "disrespected" by the woman, who was a newer employee.
"He admitted to putting the knife to the victim's neck and admitted he 'kept going after that,' estimating he stabbed her approximately five times," charging documents say.
Fuller told police he did not think the woman would survive the stabbing wounds, the documents say.
The woman required multiple surgeries and stitches, police said. She is expected to survive.
Fuller was scheduled for a hearing Friday afternoon where his pretrial release would be discussed.
