A Cardinals offense starved for runs on Wednesday in Colorado broke open the second inning vs. the Padres and starter Yu Darvish to claim a 9-7 win over San Diego.
Following a six-run inning powered by three-run homers from Brendan Donovan and Willson Contreras, the Cardinals bullpen combined to keep the Padres scoreless for four innings in a 9-7 win.Â
