Diddy Receives Alleged Standing Ovation From Inmates After Acquittal

  • 0

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly received a standing ovation from fellow inmates after being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. According to his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ victory inspired incarcerated Black men who rarely see anyone beat the federal government. Despite the acquittals, Combs remains behind bars after being convicted on lesser prostitution-related charges and still faces potential prison time at sentencing. Agnifilo and his defense team employed a blunt strategy, acknowledging Combs’ violent behavior and personal flaws while arguing it did not constitute sex trafficking. Jurors agreed, delivering a split verdict that left the defense celebrating and the prosecution reeling. Combs mouthed “thank you” to jurors and smiled as supporters chanted “Dream Team” for his lawyers. Agnifilo, who speaks to Combs multiple times daily, said the music mogul is committed to personal growth and has accepted the need to address his demons.
