Michael McGreevy faces perhaps the biggest test of his young career Sunday vs. the Dodgers.
The Cardinals and Dodgers wrap up a series with the finale at 1:15 p.m. at Busch Stadium.
McGreevy (1-0, 0.00 ERA), who has spent most of the season in Triple-A, was called up to start against one of the best offenses in baseball Sunday.
The rookie shut down another top team, the Mets, in his only other big-league action this season. He pitched 5 2/3 innings in relief vs. New York last month, allowing one hit.
To make room for McGreevy, the Cardinals sent right-hander Roddery Munoz down to Memphis. He made one appearance, pitching one inning and allowing two runs, since being called up May 31.

The Dodgers will send out 37-year-old left-hander Clayton Kershaw (0-0, 5.17 ERA). McGreevy was 7 years old when Kershaw debuted in 2008.
Kershaw's 2.87 career ERA in 22 starts vs. Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ is his third-worst vs. any of the 17 teams against which he has started more than five games.
Kershaw is 0-4 with a 6.14 ERA in five postseason starts vs. the Cardinals. The Dodgers as a team are 1-4 in those games.
After making his season debut in mid-May, Kershaw has averaged under four innings per start.
The Dodgers lead baseball with a .301 batting average with runners in scoring position, but they have gone 1 for 25 in this series.
The Cardinals are 36-28, second in the National League Central and four games behind Chicago.
The Dodgers are 38-27, first in the National League West.

Injury report
Jordan Walker, OF (left wrist inflammation): After encouraging work in the cage Saturday and Sunday, Walker will be scheduled for a rehab assignment that could begin as early as Tuesday with a minor-league affiliate. Walker received an anti-inflammatory injection this past week and had several days of rest before returning to swings over the weekend. He was also able to get an upper-body workout in Sunday that was one of the tests for the wrist. The Cardinals believe he could expedite his return based on how he feels Monday. Updated June 8
Zach Thompson, LHP (shoulder, lat strain): Lefty has returned to Jupiter, Florida, and his throwing program there after going through a battery of tests and exams in Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. Strengthening is the goal before advancing. Updated June 7
